The Account Organizer is now also available for Lightning:
the Interactive Account Hierarchy
Add the interactive Account Hierarchy to the Account Detail page and it will appear in Lightning design style, or for lightning you may want to create a separate Tab to get more space for displaying the Account Hierarchy for your End-Users.
