"DataTrim Entry Check is very simple to implement and we hope you will appreciate the value it adds to your data entry processes."

There are 4 steps to the Installation:
Step1 The installation itself, getting all the componets into your salesforce org. and provide your users access.

Step2 Adding the DataTrim Entry Check Tab to your apps

Step3 Adding the Quick Entry Check Home Page Compoment to your Homepage

Step4 Override the New buttons for Lead, Account and Contact to enforce the use of DataTrim Entry Check

Using DataTrim Entry Check...
  Using DataTrim Entry Check
It is very simple!
Step1 Enter the Details for the new entry either in the Quick Entry Check component or in the entry Tab itself

Step2 Click on the "Check" button.

Step3 DataTrim Entry Check presents you with the possible matches.

Step4 Review the the list to see if your entry already exists
Step5a Edit the Existing entry instead of creating a new thus preventing the creation of a duplicate, or

Step5b Create a new entry re-using the information you already have entered.

It even gives you the possibility to associate the new entry to an existing account, all in one click.Obs
If you create a new record, you will see that the data you already entered is automatically transferred to the new record, thus no double entry of data.
